Introduction
At chotto graphics, each step—from the first inquiry to final delivery—is communicated in a clear and approachable way, so the process feels easy to follow.
If you’re unsure about what to prepare or how the project will move forward, don’t worry.I’ve put together an overview of the workflow to help ease any concerns you may have.
It’s perfectly okay if your ideas are still vague.Whether this is your first time working on brand design or you’re not yet able to put everything into words, we’ll move through the process together at a comfortable pace.
Please feel free to reach out anytime. See service details here.
Step 1|Initial Consultation
We begin with a simple conversation to get to know your project.
I’ll ask about your challenges, goals, brand background, target audience, and the kind of atmosphere you’re drawn to.
Together, we’ll start to clarify what truly matters for your brand.
If you are located in or near Nantan City, Kyoto, in-person meetings are also possible.
Speaking face-to-face often helps capture subtle details and impressions that are difficult to convey through words alone.
Whether we meet in person, online, or communicate by email, we can proceed in the way that feels most comfortable for you.
It’s completely fine if you’re not ready to articulate everything yet—feel free to share whatever you can, at your own pace.
Step 2|Estimate & Agreement
Based on the initial hearing, I will prepare a proposal outlining the scope of work, timeline, and project fee.
Once you’re comfortable with the details, we’ll sign a simple agreement and begin the project.
The payment structure is as follows:
• 50% at the time of signing (deposit)
• 50% before final delivery
Step 3|A/B Concept Options
Once the project begins, we’ll take a closer look at your aesthetic preferences and the kind of atmosphere you envision.
If it’s difficult to describe in words, you’re welcome to share images, references, or anything that feels close to your vision.
After gathering and organizing all the information, I will prepare two concept directions — A and B — each with a different approach.
From here, the core of your brand will gradually begin to take shape.
Step 4|Selection
You’ll review the two proposed directions and choose the one that feels right for your brand.
You have up to seven days to consider your options at your own pace. Taking a little time often helps reveal which direction truly aligns with your vision.
Once you’ve made your choice, I’ll refine the selected concept and begin shaping the core design of your brand.

Step 5|Final Direction
Using the chosen concept as a base, we’ll refine details such as color, type, and layout.
Throughout this stage, we’ll carefully check how you’d like your brand to be perceived, and adjust the design accordingly.

Step 6|Design Development
Based on your project needs, I’ll create the necessary design materials—such as logos, business cards, visual assets, social media graphics, or packaging.
When helpful, I’ll share progress updates so we can adjust things along the way.
This is the stage where small, thoughtful details begin to make a meaningful difference.
Step 7|Final Refinements & Delivery
You’ll review the final design, and we’ll make any last minor adjustments as needed.
Once everything is confirmed, I’ll send the remaining balance invoice before delivery.
After the payment is received, all final files will be delivered in the required formats.
For one week after delivery, complimentary minor adjustments—such as color or type size tweaks—are available if needed.

Closing Thoughts
I hope this helps you get a feel for the flow of the process.
